How to Write a Five Paragraph Essay
Introduction
Being able to write a five paragraph essay is something all students must learn. Follow these steps.

Steps

Step One
Complete an outline to get a feel for what your paper will be about and how it will flow.

Step Two
Decide on three main points you will explain in your paper.

Step Three
Make the first paragraph your introduction. You should engage your reader with a thesis statement, which explains your main point and the three points you will use to support that point.

Step Four
Assemble the three body paragraphs. Each paragraph should explain one of your three points and how they relate to the main point of the paper.

Step Five
Write your final paragraph as a concluding statement. This paragraph will sum up your introduction again and be a final chance to push for your main point. Repeat and reaffirm your thesis in the conclusion paragraph.
