Introduction
Each marriage is different. Everyone has their own special courtship memories, their special proposal, their engagement and their wedding day. Each couple has their own set of trials and successes in their marriage. Share yours with others. You may help someone else, or you may just let someone know they are not alone.

Write about when and where you met. Write about your courtship.

Write about the proposal. Write about why you asked or why you accepted. Write about when you knew they were the one.

Write about when and how you told your parents. Write about their reactions.

Write about the engagement. Write about parties you had and planning the ceremony. Write about your feelings during your engagement.

Write about the wedding day. Write about how you felt on the day. Write about any "disasters" on your wedding day. Write about whether it turned out how you planned or not.

Write about your honeymoon. Write about where you went and whether or not you did any sightseeing. Write about things you learned about each other during this period of time.

Write about your early married life. Write about where you lived and worked, your finances or any other significant part of your married life before children. Write about what you learned about your spouse and marriage.
