The iTunes program allows you to do a variety of tasks using a variety of media. Some of the things you can do are download, save, store and watch movies. Follow these simple instructions to watch a movie in iTunes:

Step One

Download the latest version of iTunes. There are new versions of iTunes created by Mac and offered as free downloads on their website regularly.

Step Two

Download any updates that might be available for your OS or the device you are using to store your movies. Check the Mac site for updates on iTunes and iPod software.

Open iTunes. You can do this by clicking or double-clicking the icon for iTunes 7.

Step Four

Locate and purchase movies by clicking on iTunes Store. You can browse for movies to buy using the iTunes Store browser.

Click the Buy Video button. This will allow you to purchase the video.

View the video by double-clicking on the file. You do this in the same way that you listen to an audio file.

Change the settings of your video playback (size, navigation buttons, etc.) by selecting Preferences, under the Edit menu.
