Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Steps
1
Step One
Research the Internet using the Knights of Columbus national website. Choose the option "How to Join". Then click on the "Find a Council" link. The next screen prompts you to fill in your county, state, and city in order to provide you with local council information.
2
Step Two
Get in touch with your local parish office. Usually your parish will have their own local council. If they don't, your parish priest or parish office should be able to provide information on the council nearest you.
3
Step Three
Contact your campus minister at your university or college campus if you are a college student. The college handbook should have contact information on all clubs and activities at your school. You could also call the main university number and ask the operator for contact information.
4
Step Four
Find the Knights of Columbus phone number in the phone book. You should find local councils in the "Clubs and Organizations" portion of the phone book.
5
Step Five
Seek assistance from a friend in the Knights for help. Ask for tips to joining and other helpful information such as who to contact, what to expect and their overall opinion of the group.
6
Step Six
Call (203) 752-4044 to reach the Supreme Council. If you still need more information, someone at this phone number will help answer your questions.
7
Step Seven
Complete the inquiry form on the international Knights of Columbus website if you are interested in joining. Your information will then be forwarded to a unit in your area so they can get a hold of you.
