How to Visit the British International Motor Show
Introduction
The British international motor show is held every two years and has been running since 1903. This year the show will be at Excel from July 23 to the August 3 near the Docklands in London, running alongside the Dock Rock music festival.

Steps

Step One
Book your tickets online at the link below or by phoning 0870 060 0245; they can also be purchased more expensively on the day. Group discounts can be had in advance by phoning 0870 890 0588. Family tickets are also available.

Step Two
Go to the Evening Standard night. Before the official public opening there is a limited amount of premium tickets for what is known as the Evening Standard night--a great way to avoid the crowds.

Step Three
Get there by underground. Excel is near the Bank station which accessible via the Central line, the Northern Circle line, District line and the Waterloo and City Line.

Step Four
Catch a train to Excel. The nearest train station to the International Motor Show is Towerhall on the Circle and District line.

Step Five
Travel to the International Motor Show by National express. Coach service will take you right to the venue.

Step Six
Drive to the International Motor Show. There is a park and ride that you can leave your car at for ?£5 (see the International Motor Show link below) and a bus will take you to the Excel venue.
Tips & Warnings
- The International Motor Show ends at 5 p.m on Sunday. On every other day the venue closes at 9 p.m. and opens at 9:30 a.m.
- Weekday ticket are ?£8 for an adult whilst tickets at the weekend are ?£12.
- On a journey by underground or train you will have to connect via the DLR train (see traveline link below).
- If you want to take the National Express, look out for special offers.
