How to View TV Images With Your Celestron VistaPix 8x32 Binocular and 3.2mp Digital Camera

Step One

Insert the video cable into the input TV port on the VistaPix. This will provide the input to your camera that allows you to view the images.

Connect this cable to the AV-in port of your TV. Ensure this is connected to the Video channel of the AV port.

Turn on your camera/binocular. The screen should automatically switch to TV view mode.

If the screen does not automatically change to view mode, change manually to the browse mode to play the TV images.

Press the a??Upa?? and a??Downa?? buttons to view the images from your TV.

Overall Tips & Warnings

  • To switch on the unit, hold down the a??Powera?? button for 3 seconds. The unit will beep twice to signify it has been switched on.
  • After the camera has been inactive for about 1 minute, it will automatically switch off to preserve power. You don't have to worry about leaving your camera on and wasting electricity.
  • Ensure your camera remains dry at all times. Never use the camera or binocular function under water. This creates a threat of electric shock, and will certainly damage the model. In removing dust or dirt, use a soft, dry cloth to avoid damaging the lenses or electrics.
