How to View Featured Articles on Wikipedia

Introduction

Articles are collaboratively written on Wikipedia, and each day there is a new article featured as featured content on the site. Seeing and reading the featured articles is easy--just follow the steps below.

Steps

Step One

Click the "Featured Content" link in the left hand navigation bar.

Step Two

Scroll down to see the selection of current Featured Articles.

Step Three

Choose an article to read by clicking its name.

Step Four

Click the "More Featured Articles" link at the bottom of the list to see more featured articles.

Overall Tips & Warnings

  • If you find an article that you find particularly striking, well written or useful, you can nominate it to become featured content.
  • Other featured content includes lists, images and portals.
