How to Use Aphrodisiacs

Introduction

Aphrodisiacs have been used for centuries to heighten the sensuality and sexuality of a person. Even if you do not believe that there is any validity to the power of aphrodisiacs, you can still use these mood enhancers to create a romantic night with your loved one.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Steps

1

Step One

Serve oysters at dinner, one of the most well known and most used aphrodisiacs. Since the second century, this food has been touted for producing sexual energy in men and women.
2

Step Two

Make a chocolate dessert. It has long been believed that chocolate is a stimulating aphrodisiac. If you want to get your lover in the mood, whip up a delicious chocolate mousse and serve it by candlelight.
3

Step Three

Spread out rose petals on the bed. Roses are commonly given as a romantic gift and can be considered another aphrodisiac. Take the petals off of the flowers and make a path leading to the bed.
4

Step Four

Use essential oils that contain rose, sandalwood or vanilla. These scents are known to stimulate desire in both men and women. Massage each other with body oils containing these ingredients or burn them in an oil burner nearby.
5

Step Five

Light scented candles. A vanilla scented candle will lift both your moods and has been known to stimulate the libido.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't buy any herbal libido enhancers that claim to be aphrodisiacs. You are better off using natural ingredients to create a sexual mood.
  • Don't use aphrodisiacs in a non-altruistic way. Aphrodisiacs should only be used between two consenting adults who both are interested in having sex.
