How to Throw the Ultimate Super Bowl Party

Introduction

Everybody wants to throw a party for the game that now is called a holiday, the Super Bowl, but sometimes just a party is not good enough. Let's take it a step further.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You'll Need

  • Money
  • Space to play a football game
  • A TV
  • Lots of friends!!!

Steps

1

Step One

Get a list together of a bunch of friends and family that you want to bring over to your house for about five hours to watch the biggest game of the year.
2

Step Two

Get the food together. Food is the driving force (besides a good game) for a good party. Pizza and hot wings are foods of choice, and chips and salsa are great snackers to munch on while the game plays. Soda is also key to have a great party. On the west coast, the game usually comes on at about 3:30, so you can pretty much eat dinner while the game is on, but on the east coast you should probably start eating before the game.
3

Step Three

HDTV is probably the way to go to watch the big game, but as long as there is a television, you're set. Tivo is also preferred so you can rewind to go back to key points in the game, and also re-watch the funny commercials.
4

Step Four

Deck out your house with pennants and other things game-related. Create a good game watching atmosphere.
5

Step Five

Watch the first and second quarter, and fill up on the food!
6

Step Six

Now it's halftime, and the entertainment isn't really your style. No problem! Take the guys outside and have a halftime game!
7

Step Seven

Get ready to go onto the edge of your seat as the third quarter turns into the final quarter.
8

Step Eight

Glue your eyes to the TV as the last fifteen minutes tick away.
9

Step Nine

After the game ends, don't let anybody leave as you surprise them all with desert (and more pizza).

Overall Tips & Warnings

  • Send out invitations early so your friends don't have a chance to accept any others.
  • Don't scream and yell like a maniac during the game; actually see what's going on.
  • It may take a bit of dough to pull a great party off, but it'll be worth it once the party starts.
