How to Stay Busy At A Car Wash

Introduction

Waiting for your car to be washed can seem like a daunting task. It seems like your car is the last one to get washed and then it sits in the sun for a half an hour before it gets dried. There are many ways to distract yourself that are very productive.

Things You'll Need

  • One or more of the following: a magazine, checkbook, book, ipod or other mp3 device, nail polish, cell phone

Do not just sit and watch your car go through the suds, that will make your chore seem much longer.

Sit down in a comfy chair either outside where its warm, or inside if it is colder.

Take out one of your distration devices. This is a great time to do tasks that seem to never get done. Balance your checkbook or get caught up on some reading.

Step Four

As long as you bring something to keep you busy the time will fly by and you will be "that person" who is called on the loudspeaker to come and get your car because it has been done for 20 minutes.
