Steps

1

Step One

Head to the forest. Sasquatch are said to live in secluded areas that are heavily forested. The Pacific Northwest region of the United States and the southwest region of Canada are both areas with high numbers of supposed Bigfoot sightings.
2

Step Two

Join an online group or discussion forum dedicated to researching and discovering Sasquatch. Share your thoughts and ideas with fellow Sasquatch buffs. Make contacts with others and learn about their techniques for searching in the field and taking photographs.
3

Step Three

Find other Sasquatch enthusiasts in your area. Organize search parties with them so you can cover more ground in a short period.
4

Step Four

Prepare a list of equipment to take whenever you go out into the field to search for a Sasquatch. Always bring a good camera or video camera. Other items to include are a GPS tracking system or compass, binoculars, plastic evidence bags, paper and a pen to record notes and a tape measure to determine the size of any tracks you encounter. Pack your basic hiking and camping necessities.
5

Step Five

Be patient. There is no proof that anyone has ever seen a Sasquatch, either because the creature hides well or it simply doesn't exist. Be prepared to invest time in your search for a Sasquatch.
