How to Roof Test
Introduction
Everyday we are presented with object in our daily life that beg the question "will this pass the roof test?" With my advice, you can see for yourself!
Instructions
Difficulty: Easy
Things You'll Need
- An object to test (the heavier and more fragile, the better)
- A tall structure to conduct the test from
- A crowd of spectators
Steps
1
Step One
Find the item that you would like to subject to the roof test. The heavier and more fragile the item the better, since we want this to be a true test. I recommend televisions or computers
2
Step Two
Find a tall structure that you are going to drop your object from the roof of. I recommend it be at least 50 feet tall.
3
Step Three
Get the item up to the top of the structure. If it is too heavy for you to carry, ask those around you for help
4
Step Four
Once at the top, look down to make sure there are no obstacles (people, pets, cars) that may interfere with the test
5
Step Five
When you are ready to start, yell "Roooooooof Test!" so everybody is aware of what is going to happen
6
Step Six
Throw the item off the roof
7
Step Seven
Once the item impacts the ground, go down to the bottom of the structure to inspect the results.
8
Step Eight
If your item is still in one piece, it passed the roof test. If it is in 1,000,000 pieces it failed the roof test. Better luck next time!
Overall Tips & Warnings
