Getting a run in your panty hose can be a real problem, especially if you are on your way to a big event. Luckily there is an easy solution.

Step One
Fix the run as soon as possible or it cannot be repaired. When you first notice a run take clear fingernail polish and very lightly spread it over the tear in one direction. Spreading the polish in one direction makes it less noticeable.

Step Two
Let the polish dry and then add another coat. Make sure to brush in one direction.

Step Three
Repeat as needed. The polish will help hold the hose together. As it is clear, you will not be able to see the polish.

- This solution will only work on certain colors of pantyhose.

- If a tear is big and open you can try to pull the sides of the hole together and brush the nail polish on to hold the sides together but this may make it more noticeable.
