How to Put a Frame Around a Image using SiteBuilder - Yahoo
Introduction
This article is for people building their own sites using Yahoo's SiteBuilder software. It explains how to make images look more attractive. These was no way to show the frames on ehow.com however at the end of the article are the references to my websites where you can see how these pictures looked with the frames around them.
Instructions
Difficulty: Easy
Things You'll Need
- Sitebuilder program
- image on you computer
Steps
1
Step One
To insert an image on to a page using SiteBuilder. Type shift control I, or go to the menu at the top of the page and select Insert, image, select the image you want and place it on the page.
Unframed picture before adding frame. Go to classyartwork.com to see framed results.

Step Two
Next go to Table, again either at the top of the menu bar or right click and select Insert, table. The table window will open. The default is a 6 row by 6 column table. Change it to 1 row by 1 column. Hit OK. It will make a small box in the center of the page.
3
Step Three
Using the editing method for cut and paste, select and cut the picture. Next place your mouse pointer into the center of the small table box and select paste. The table will enlarge to fit a frame around your image.

Step Four
To see how it looks go to my websites jessperna.com, portraitsbyjessperna.com and classyartwork.com. Since the pictures on the website only appear to be framed,I was not able to capture the frames to show them in the image upload for ehow as only the picture shows. You can clearly see the results on my websites. Some of the pages have several pictures in one table and others are framed alone.
5
Step Five
You can make the frames wider or thinner according to your preference. You can change the colors of the frames. Just select the different options in the table window (where you selected 1 row and 1 table). It takes a little experimentation with the table and cell boarders to see what you like but it is an interesting process.
Overall Tips & Warnings
- Select a frame color (table color) that accents your pictures. Black makes a nice background as it makes the pictures pop.
