How to Play the Bob Newhart Show Drinking Game

Introduction

This drinking game has been in existence as long as the show. For anyone who enjoys drinking games and brilliant comedy, or for anyone who wants to get drunk in twenty-two minutes, this game is for you.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You'll Need

  • Bob Newhart show DVD
  • DVD player
  • Television
  • Beer

Steps

Step One

Choose an episode of the Bob Newhart Show to watch.

Step Two

Listen carefully for any character to say the word "Bob." When they do, drink.

Step Three

Repeat steps one and two as necessary.

Overall Tips & Warnings

  • To reduce trips to the fridge, have beer on hand. Larger cans or bottles will be helpful.
  • You will become very full. Stand up at regular intervals to aid in belching.
  • Some episodes are real doozies, while others are a little less intense. Learn which to accommodate your mood. It may be useful to add ratings to the episode list on the DVD case.
  • Try not to drink and laugh simultaneously.
  • Watch out for Peter Bonerz's character, Jerry. He says "Bob" often.
