How to Plan a Visit to Petworth House
Introduction
Petworth House is one of Britain's most splendid stately homes. Often painted by J. M. Turner, it now houses many of the great artist's paintings. The surrounding garden is considered to be a work of art too. Designed by landscape gardening genius Capability Brown, many consider it to be his crowning masterpiece.
