How to Link an Outlook Item to a Contact
Introduction
You can keep track of information and people by linking Outlook 2000 contacts to e-mail, meetings, appointments, tasks, and events.

Steps

Step One
Double-click on the Outlook item (such as an appointment or task) you wish to link to a contact.

Step Two
Click on Contacts or, in an e-mail message, open the Insert menu and choose Contacts.

Select the contact you want to link to the item.
Tips & Warnings
- To see all the items related to a contact, open the contact and click on the Activities tab. It might take a minute or so for the list to appear.
- All e-mail messages sent either from a contact or with that contact on the list of recipients are automatically linked.
