Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Steps

1

Step One

Shuffle a deck of cards and allow a spectator to select one. Turn so they can show it to other spectators and memorize the card without revealing it to you.
2

Step Two

Peek at the bottom card of the deck while turned away; this is called a key card. Turn back to the spectator and have them place the card, without revealing it, on the top of the deck.

Step Three

Cut the cards once, which places the key card on top on the selected card. Place the deck on the table and stare at it.
4

Step Four

Place one forefinger against the forehead and use the other hand to start slowly overturning cards. Feign intense effort and mental strain.

Step Five
