Introduction

The Crossville Oktoberfest celebration is an annual 2-day event that is historically held on the second weekend of October. The event is the largest of its kind in the Crossville area and attracts many visitors from Metro Knoxville, which is a little more than an hour's drive to the east. The Oktoberfest runs Friday and Saturday with opening ceremonies beginning at noon on Friday and closing ceremonies beginning 1 hour before the 9:30 p.m. close on Saturday. Family Day is Saturday with gates opening at 10 a.m.

Arrive when the gates first open Friday at 11:30 a.m. to celebrate the traditional Oktoberfest opening ceremonies. A large Oompah band will entertain the early guests before and after the official "Tapping of the Keg" by a city official.
