How to Become a Juggler
Introduction
Learning to juggle takes time, dedication, skill, and tons and tons of practice. But, if you are willing to put forth the effort it takes to learn the right skills, the look of awe on the faces of your audience can make it all worthwhile.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Steps
1
Step One
Learn the basics. Most jugglers start with the basic three-ball juggle. There are several sub-steps involved in this including throws, exchanges and double exchanges. It is best to plan your practices in frequent, short sessions. This helps keep you from becoming frustrated.

Step Two
Once you have the basic moves down, start expanding your act with more difficult moves. This could involve more balls, juggling objects other than balls, lighting things on fire, and other intricate moves. If you want to learn to juggle just so you can say you know how, sticking with three balls is probably fine. But, if you are looking into becoming a performer, you will need to branch out because almost everyone has seen a juggler before, now people want to see unusual and creative acts.

Step Three
Sell yourself. Like many others looking for a job, networking is important. Attend as many festivals, seminars and training sessions geared toward jugglers as you can. Search the Internet for job listings, and place advertisements for yourself in local and regional newspapers.
