How to Baby-Proof a Bookcase

Introduction

Oftentimes little ones run around and gleefully empty your bookshelf of any books. This quick and simple method can be a solution for a quick fix or semi-permanently until the kiddo grows out of dumping books.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You'll Need

  • bookshelf
  • a fitted sheet close to the size of the shelf

Steps

Step One

Eyeball your bookcase and determine which size of fitted sheet is closest to the size. Probably most can be covered with a twin size.

Simply slip the sheet over the front of the bookcase. The fitted corners will hook over the back.

Step Three

If you need to reference a book on the shelf, you can easily take the top off and reach your book, then close it back again.
