How to Add Sparkles to a Photo in Photo-Brush

Introduction

Photo-Brush is a new image editor and photo enhancing program by Media Chance. It has many tools and effects that are found in much more expensive professional photo editing programs. One of the many fun features this software has is the ability to add sparkles and lens flare effects. Perhaps a diamond ring in an engagement photo could use a little spark or you could enhance someone's eyes with a little twinkle.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You'll Need

  • Photo-Brush software
  • Photo

Steps

1

Step One

Open your selected photo in the Photo-Brush program.
2

Step Two

Look at your photograph and determine where you would like to add the sparkle.
3

Step Three

Click the Sparkle button on the tool bar and click on the area of the photo where you want to add sparkle, but do not release the cursor just yet. Drag it from the center of the red circle to create the size of the sparkle you want, then release the cursor.
4

  • Sparkles are great to add to metal or glass to give some dimension to your shots. It does wonders for simple photos of champagne glasses or tableware.
  • Combining two sparkles with different streak angles can add dimension.
  • Sparkles and lens flares are most visible where the images are darker.
  • You can also add a sparkle in the center of your lens flare for an even more dramatic effect.
