Introduction

As you know, I'm a stump. I'm also pretty and smart and funny, so don't cry for me, Argentina.
But I know my shortcomings. Literally.
And one of them is my stumpy arms.
Can you relate?
These are the rules I follow. Maybe they'll work for you, too.

Difficulty: Easy

Steps

1

Step One

First of all, the idea of a capped sleeve needn't even be in your vocabulary. The fact that I just typed those words is almost blasphemy. Don't ask me why, just don't EVER wear it.
2

Step Two

If your arms are attractive enough to expose, a thinly, strapped tank is your best bet for a casual thing. A strapless neck is actually ideal, but isn't particularly appropriate for many events. Such as, your life. The more skin that's exposed, the more your stumps will look like one continuous line with your clavicle and decolletage.
3

Step Three

If your upper arms are ghastly, never sport a regular t-shirt. A three-quarter length is perfect. Three-quarter should end JUST below the inner part of the elbow. Exposing that part will only accentuate the stump.
4

Step Four

The most attractive way to cover but enhance a stubby limb is to wear an extra long piece of clothing with a fluted sleeve. If you wear a skin-grazing shirt with a cuff which skims your knuckles, your adoring audience will be tricked into thinking that is actually the length of your arm. They'll never suspect that a foot long appendage hides beneath...

Overall Tips & Warnings

  • Typically, a stumpy arm doesn't do well when all sausaged and tightly packed into a shirt. A ballooned sleeve is always a better choice.
