Click on a??Featured Contenta?? in the left hand side bar on any Wikipedia Web page.

You can click on a??More Featured Picturesa?? at the bottom of the section to see more.

Overall Tips & Warnings

  • Featured images are nominated by Wikipedia users--these are images which are thought to be particularly striking or popular.
  • If you find an image that you find particularly striking or topical, you can nominate it to become featured content.
  • Some of the full-size images are very large. They may take a long time to load, especially if you use a dial-up Internet connection.
