Introduction

After you store a number on your fax machine, you can dial it using one-touch buttons, speed dial codes or by searching the fax machine's phone book. Just follow the steps below to store a number on your fax machine.

Steps

Step One

Press the a??Speed Diala?? button for about two seconds. The display shows a??Speed (00-80)>##".

Step Two

Enter a two-digit number, then press a??Start/Entera??. Numbers from 00 to 09 can be used for one-touch dialing. The numbers 10 and up can be used for speed dialing.

Step Three

Enter the fax number you want to store (up to 40 digits) and then press a??Start/Enter". Should you hit a wrong number by mistake, use the a??<a?? or a??>a?? buttons to move the cursor under the digit, and then enter the correct digit.

Step Four

Enter the name of the person (up to 20 characters) and press a??Start/Entera??. Now, press a??Cancela?? to exit. The name and number you have entered will go in a phone book.

Step Five

Print a phone book by pressing a??Report/Helpa??. Then press a??<a?? or a??>a?? until a??Phonebooka?? displays and press a??Start/Entera??.

Overall Tips & Warnings

  • Refer to the manual that came with your fax machine, as each fax machine will be a little bit different.
  • In case you can not remember which number you assigned to each code, you can print out the fax machine's phone book.
