Steps

Step One

Enter Microsoft Excel and open the file you want to convert.

Step Two

Open the File menu and choose Web Page Preview to see how the spreadsheet will look on the Web. Make any changes you need to.

Step Three

Open the File menu and select Save As Web Page.

Step Four

In the "Save in" list, choose the place on your hard disk, Web server or other location where you want to save the new Web page.

Step Five

Type a name for the page in the "File name" box.

Step Six

Click Save.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also save your Excel files as "interactive" Web pages so that they can be modified from the Web. This is a bit more complicated; see the Excel online help for more info.
