Introduction

Before sending or sharing those pictures, probably you would want to resize them first - to a more download friendly size. In Adobe Photoshop CS2, you could resize multiple pictures simultaneously without the need to open each files one by one.

Things You'll Need

  • Adobe Photoshop CS2
  • Pictures

Steps

Step One

Choose "Scripts" under the File Menu, then select "Image Processor."

Step Two

Select the Folder Image Files you want to resize and process.

Step Three

Select the Location where you want the save the resized images. Although, each resized image will be saved under a different name and would not overwrite any existing file, it is still advisable to create a new folder for processed images.

Step Four

Select "Resize to Fit" under File Type and enter the desired new width and height dimension of the images. The images will resize according the latest pixel parameters while retaining its original proportions.

Step Five

Click "Run" to start resizing of images.

Overall Tips & Warnings

  • Under Image Processor you can also process multiple images with the following:
  • a. Convert images to a specific or multiple formats (i.e. jpeg, psd, tiff)
  • b. Set the image quality of the resized image.
