Introduction

If you want to see the sparkle of Las Vegas and the peaks and valleys of the beautiful Mojave Desert, plan an off-road motorcycle tour. Here are some simple steps to get your planning underway. Have a great ride!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Steps

1

Step One

Find out more about the Adventure Motorcycle Tours touring company, also know as AdMo-Tours, at (760) 249-1105 or on their Web site (see Resources, below).
2

Step Two

Pick the dates for your tour. Tours going from Los Angeles to Las Vegas generally run from October through May on a first come, first serve basis.
3

Step Three

Book your tour. A custom adventure tour is possible. You can also add a day or more to any tour you chose.
4

Step Four

Rent a dual sport bike, if necessary. You can bring your own bike, but it must be a dual sport bike or a street legal dirt bike and must meet the standards of the touring company.
5

Step Five

Confirm the dates of the trip. Add more accommodations, if desired. Most tours last three days.
6

Step Six

Ask about travel arrangements to Los Angeles and back from Las Vegas. This is not a round-trip tour.
7

Step Seven

Finalize the reservations for your Los Angeles to Las Vegas off-road trip. Make sure your personal information is accurate. Place a deposit with a credit card. A deposit is required for each rider. Discounts are available for single bookings with five or more riders.
