Introduction
Since it first landed a spot on the prime time lineup, "CSI" has been one of the most popular shows on television. The show fascinates millions of viewers every week, and has already spawned two successful spin offs. If you and your friends are die-hard fans of the show, having a "CSI" premiere party is the perfect way to kick off the new season.

Plan Your CSI Premiere Party
Steps
1
Step One
Mail the invitations 3 to 5 weeks prior to the premiere party. This will give people plenty of time to plan for your event. Ask people to let you know they will be coming and how many people will attend.
2
Step Two
Provide light snacks like pretzels or popcorn to satisfy your guests' hunger. "CSI" is shown well after dinner time, so most of your guests will probably have eaten already by the time they show up to your house.
3
Step Three
Serve drinks to guests in beaker shaped glasses to create a lab-like setting.
4
Step Four
Use caution tape to decorate the room instead of cr?ape paper.
5
Step Five
Hold a costume contest to see who can dress most like his favorite star from the show. You can even give out awards for the best costume.
6
Step Six
Create a quiz centered around the forensic theme of the show. For example, you could ask the question "What is luminal?" The person with the correct answer would win a prize.
7
Step Seven
Give out bug awards. "CSI" fans all know about Grissom's fascination with insects and bugs. Hide some fake insects and bugs around your house (frozen in an ice cube!) and let guests collect them throughout the night. Give a prize to the person who has collected the most bugs and insects by the end of the night.

Step Eight
Play the "CSI" board game with guests to see just how much they really know about the show. Playing the game just before the premiere can get you and your guests even more excited for the new episode.
Overall Tips & Warnings
- Invite more people than you plan to have come. About 20 percent of people you invite will not be able to make your party (more if it is on a weeknight and you invite parents of wee-ones). If you have room and want 30 people and only 10 show up, the party might not be considered as interesting and diverse.
