Introduction

So you've always wanted to take a photograph of Bigfoot, but didn't know where to start? Here is a tried and true method for getting an authentic photo of the big-footed creature. While countless others have tried and ultimately failed at photographing Bigfoot, you will succeed. Follow these steps carefully and master the art and science of photographing Bigfoot.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You'll Need

  • Cheap 35mm camera
  • Black and white 35mm film
  • Tall friend
  • Ape costume

Steps

1

Step One

Buy an old 35mm camera for about $10. Something made of cheap plastic and low quality will do just fine. Fill it with low speed black and white 35mm film.
2

Step Two

Ask your tallest friend to help you take a photo of Bigfoot. A basketball player type is excellent, as they tend to have long arms.
3

Step Three

Find an ape costume at a local costume shop. If you live in a small town you may have to drive to a big city to find a costume or buy one online.
4

Step Four

Take your friend, ape costume and camera out to a wooded mountain area. The trees should be some sort of pine with enough clearing for you to photograph from a long distance.
5

Step Five

Have your big friend wear the ape costume and go up into the woods to walk around. Have him slouch quite a bit. It's important to mimic Bigfoot's bad posture.
6

Step Six

Take a lot of shots of your friend wearing the ape costume, standing about 150 to 200 feet away. It's important not to use any zoom lens for this.
7

Step Seven

Go back to town and have the roll of film developed by a one hour photo shop. Take one of the blurriest shots and have the photo developer enlarge it to an 8 1/2 by 11 inch picture.
8

Step Eight

Get a digital scan of the enlargement and spam it all over the Internet. You now have a photograph of "Bigfoot."

Tips & Warnings

  • For credibility, take a few shots of Bigfoot's footprints.
  • Remember that you aren't lying by stating that this is Bigfoot. The original Bigfoot was also a guy wearing an ape costume.
